Hello. My name is Ana Holland and I am a wedding planner based in Porto, Portugal. You may ask why Porto? The reason is not only because I live here, but also because I have a special place in my heart for this marvelous city called Porto.

I was born and grew up in Guimarães, but at the age of 30 applied for a temporary position in Porto and have been here ever since.

Now, this is my favourite and much loved city. As well as from the beginning providing me with employment, it has given me a new life full of incredible experiences, friends, and a husband - it was not in my plans to come here to marry, especially to an Englishman.  For this reason, I chose the name Porto for Weddings for our company.

The idea to be a wedding planner came after organising my own wedding. This day was such a happy one for me and I realized that it passes so quickly that it needs to be extremely well organized and with great attention to the details because these really make a difference. So then I decided to do a professional course to become a wedding planner.

Now I have the privilege to have arranged many happy and successful weddings for my clients from many different countries. 

I can honestly say this is not just a business for me.  I love to work with Bridal couples to discuss and plan all the arrangements in detail right through the wedding day itself and this brings me great happiness and a sense of fulfillment.

Through all the process of working and planning, I often create lasting friendships. My priority is always to realise the dreams of each Bridal couple and create lifelong happy memories for them.   

When I start working on the planning of a new wedding I feel a great sense of excitement as well as responsibility. Every wedding is different and special whether large or small and I give the same care and attention and enthusiasm to each and every one of them. We adore weddings!
